LEAD-IN BY HOST: This report was called in moments ago from the INS.

CALL-IN BRIEF: Around 4:30 in the afternoon, ... of the office was closed to give any service to the public, and then loaded with all these people, a van loaded with immigrants were taken out of this place and directed to the detention center of the INS. They didn't give me an exact number, but around 12 probably 14 people were packed in one van. These were people who came this morning and they didn't come out. They were complying with the mandatory registration, but we don't know exactly what exactly happened to these individuals who were detained.

The helicopters are still above us, just flying in circles and people that were coming out of other offices say they were going to join and protest according to one of the INS monitors. Because when they learned what it is all about, they say it is unfair for all these people who were complying with the law to be detained and the attacks on the Muslim immigrants. Right now, they're still coming, and a half an hour ago there were 50 and now they've doubled it. They are marching around the sidewalk and the sidewalk is starting to get quite crowded over here.
