BRIEF: With the nation now at "Code Orange terror alert," many governmental agencies are shifting their normal activities in order to implement their emergency plans. The process of registering foreign nationals by the Immigration and Naturalization Service [Now part of the Homeland Security Department], however, is still on schedule. This Friday, March 21, is still the deadline for all Group 3 residents to come in [for special registrations]. This includes Pakistani males over age 16. Houston is home to the country's second largest Pakistani community.
